A Guide to Baker

A Guide to Baker

  • 05/2/23

Baker is an energetic historic district located just south of Downtown. Bordered on the east by South Broadway, the neighborhood has a vibrant, eclectic feel boasting many local bars, unique eateries + boutique shops. Home styles include Queen Anne and Victorian, as well as turn of the century row-homes, and some newer multi-family condo buildings. As one of Denver's oldest neighborhoods, the area has maintained much of the look and feel from the early 1900's, when most of the original homes were built.

Baker is bordered by 6th Ave. to the north, the Platte River to the west, W. Mississippi to the south + Broadway to the east, allowing convenient commuting via major thoroughfares, including easy access to 1-25 and light rail.
